McDONOUGH — Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy basketball player India Bellamy announced her commitment to Rice University last week.

Bellamy, who played at Dutchtown last season, averaged 14.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game to help the Lady Bulldogs reach the Class AAAAA Elite Eight. Bellamy played at ELCA as a sophomore. She has been a First Team All-County selection in each of the last two seasons.
