MCDONOUGH — ELCA continued its offensive explosion Friday night with a 61-0 win over Trinity Christian.
Keaton Mitchell once again was an impact player for the Chargers. He rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Justin Robinson caught the ball five times for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
ELCA has scored 165 points in its last three games against Heritage-Conyers, Holy Innocents’ and Trinity.
“It was a great win for our boys,” ELCA head coach Jonathan Gess said. “We got to stay humble and keep getting better. We have a big game against Wesleyan next week.”
The Chargers improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Region 5 A-Private play with the win. ELCA will travel to play Wesleyan (2-3, 2-0) next Friday.
